Goodbye from Me!

Hi there – Laura here from D&J! For the last two and a half years it’s been my pleasure to run Dotty & Jack’s in Weybridge and Cobham and it’s been a blast. I’ve met so many awesome mums, many of whom I now count as good friends, and my goodness we’ve learnt a hell of a lot about running a business. However, all good things must come to an end, and it’s with a mixture of emotions that we can announce that Dotty & Jack’s Weybridge & Cobham will soon be closing.

Our last day of classes will be Friday 13th May 2016.

There are a bunch of reasons that we’re doing this. Firstly, I’ve been offered a new job that I just can’t turn down. This new job just happens to come at a time that we’re facing increasing amounts of competition from pretty much every baby and toddler class under the sun! I’m so proud of the little business that we’ve created – it has amazing potential, but given this new job, I no longer have the time to really drive it forwards.

All full time memberships will be pro-rated to finish on our last day. You can also continue to purchase 10, 5 and 2 class passes, but obviously they will need to be used by 13th May. We would encourage you to all get booking your classes as soon as possible. Many of our teachers will not be carrying on their classes in the area, so please do make the most of them whilst you can. I think you’ll agree they’ve all been brilliant and I know they’ll want to see as many of you as they can before our last day.

All updates on the future of Dotty & Jack’s will continue to be posted on our Facebook page, as well as the website We will also post details of any classes our existing teachers intend to run so please do keep an eye out for that.

So, all that’s left to say is a huge ‘thank you’ to each and every one of you. The teachers, mums, dads, grandparents, childminders, and of course the stars of the show, all our babies and toddlers have been at the heart of Dotty & Jack’s and I’m so proud of the community we’ve created.

It goes without saying that I wish you and your families all the best for the future, and if you have any questions at all then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Best wishes, and thanks again for being part of D&J. You’ve all been amazing!
