• How do I book siblings onto classes?

If you would like to bring two or three children to our classes, you must book a space for each child. If you’re a full time member, you’ll be able to do this yourself. Just book a second (and third if necessary) place in the same way that you book your first place and that will reserve the correct amount of spaces you need. If you are a part time member, please book one space and email us so that we can book your second space. That means you only use up one class credit but have the necessary spaces booked on the class. Unfortunately if you only book one space but turn up with two or three children, our teachers may be forced to refuse entry to classes.

  • Is it possible to trial a class?

Dotty & Jack’s is a members club and you do need to be either a full time or part time member to come along to our classes. If you are unsure whether D&J membership is for you, then by purchasing a 5 or 10 class pass you can get a real taste of what we’re all about and the quality of our classes.

  • How do I book a space on Baby Swimming?

Baby Swimming is the only class in our timetable where an additional supplement applies. Our Baby Swimming courses run for six weeks, and are capped at 7 people per 30min class to ensure our tutor can give each baby some quality individualised attention. If you are interested in our Baby Swimming lessons, then please register your interest atinfo@dottyandjacks.co.uk and we will be able to give you the most up-to-date info with regards to appropriate classes and new course dates. 24 hour priority booking will always be given to full time members.

When you access to your account, simply head to the Timetable page, find the correct week you want to book onto and then select ‘Sign Up Now.’ You will need to login each time you want to book a class, and you can book classes four weeks in advance.

  • Can my other half or grandparents come along to classes?

Yes absolutely! We love it when other family members come along to watch the babies enjoy their classes. Please just let us know so that we can let the tutors know.

  • Can I buy membership now but start at a later date?

Yes that’s no problem. When you create your account, you can specify what date you would like your membership to start from. Please note that you will only be able to book classes once your account is active.

  • How much notice do I need to give you to leave Dotty & Jack’s?

We understand that family circumstances and interests change so we just ask for one month’s notice if you want to leave Dotty & Jack’s.

  • When will the money come out of my bank account?

We will take the money out on the same day of the month as you joined. So if you join us on the 5th of the month, then we will take money from your bank on the 5th of every month thereafter.

  • Where should we meet the tutor?

The class pages will list the meeting points

  • How much notice do you need if I have to cancel a class?

We understand that juggling family life can be very unpredictable which is why we offer you the chance to cancel a class up to 2 hours before it starts. However, the more notice you can give us the better so we can notify people on our waiting list. To cancel your space on a class, you need to go through your online account. You won’t be able to cancel online if there is less than 2hrs before the start of the class so please email info@dottyandjacks.co.uk

  • There are no more spaces on the class I wanted to attend. What can I do?

The popularity of some classes will inevitably mean that on some occasions some people will miss out. However, you can still put yourself on the waiting list and you will automatically be notified if a space becomes available and 99 times out of 100 will be able to get a space. If we find that the same few classes are always fully booked and that interest outstrips supply, then we will look to add an extra class into our timetable.

  • How far in advance can I book a class?

You can book 4 weeks in advance. Whilst this is ample time to make sure you’re booked on the classes you want, we still advise booking early to avoid disappointment.

  • How many people can book onto a class?

It really depends on the class. For our holistic classes like yoga and pilates we want to ensure an individualised personal approach so we limit numbers to 10, but some of our classes like Buggyfit can see up to 20 mums running around tha park! Most classes will be capped at around 12.
